Founder Finds Future — Website and Applicant Terms
Operated by MCT Studio Pty Ltd | Version date: 15.10.2026
Important notice
These terms govern use of the Founder Finds Future website and participation in the FFF application and selection process. They are a draft for jurisdiction-specific legal review. Applying does not create a right to selection or investment, and no investment is offered or promised through the website.
1. Operator and acceptance
Founder Finds Future is operated by MCT Studio Pty Ltd (we, us or our), ABN 92 695 735 132, of Level 2/15 James Street, Fortitude Valley, QLD 4006. By using the website or submitting an application, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you apply for a company or team, you confirm that you are authorised to provide its information and bind it to application-related representations.
2. Programme purpose
FFF is a founder-discovery and potential investment programme. We intend to identify one potential recipient associated with each of Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States. Headline potential investment amounts are A$1,000,000 in Australia, £1,000,000 in the UK and US$1,000,000 in the US. These statements describe programme intent only. Any investment amount, currency, timing, instalments, structure, conditions, valuation, equity, control rights and other terms depend on the business and remain subject to negotiation, due diligence, approvals, definitive agreements and applicable law.
3. Eligibility
- You must be aged 21 to 35 at the time of selection.
- You must be a permanent resident of Australia, the United Kingdom or the United States and apply in the relevant geography.
- Both early-stage ideas and existing businesses may be eligible.
- You must provide truthful, complete and current information and promptly correct any material change.
- You must have the legal capacity and authority to apply, disclose the submitted information and participate.
- Employees, contractors, reviewers and close family members connected with FFF may be excluded where necessary to preserve process integrity.
4. Application period
Applications are intended to close at 11:59 p.m. on 31 December 2026. We may extend, pause, amend or cancel the application period or programme where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law. Late or incomplete applications may be rejected.
5. Application process
We may review applications in stages, request further information, conduct interviews, verify eligibility, contact references and carry out financial, commercial, legal, regulatory, technical, reputational and background due diligence. We may appoint independent or external reviewers. Selection methodology, weightings and reviewer composition may change as the programme develops, provided we act consistently with applicable law.
6. No guarantee, entitlement or offer
Submission, acknowledgement, shortlisting, interview, publicity or verbal discussion does not guarantee selection, funding, investment or any commercial relationship. We may select no applicant in a geography if no suitable opportunity is identified. Nothing on the website constitutes financial product advice, investment advice, an offer of securities or a binding commitment to invest. A binding investment arises only if definitive agreements are negotiated, executed and all stated conditions are satisfied.
7. Investment discussions
If selected for further consideration, you may be asked to negotiate investment terms. The investment percentage, equity or other interest, governance rights, timing, performance conditions, use of funds and release schedule are not fixed by these terms. You should obtain independent legal, tax, financial and commercial advice before entering any investment agreement.
8. Your submissions and intellectual property
You retain ownership of your pre-existing intellectual property and application materials. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to copy, store, review, analyse and share your submission with authorised reviewers, advisers and service providers solely to administer, assess, verify and conduct due diligence for FFF and related potential transactions. Do not submit information you are not authorised to disclose. We do not accept an obligation to treat unsolicited ideas as exclusive, and we may already be considering similar concepts. Confidential treatment is limited to the commitments expressly stated in these terms, the Privacy Policy or a separately signed confidentiality agreement.
9. Accuracy, conduct and disqualification
You must not provide false, misleading, plagiarised, unlawful or infringing material; manipulate the process; impersonate another person; interfere with the website; or attempt to gain unauthorised access. We may suspend review, request evidence, reject or disqualify an application where information is inaccurate, eligibility is not met, conduct undermines programme integrity, due diligence is unsatisfactory, or participation may create legal, regulatory, safety or reputational risk.
10. Communications and marketing choices
We may contact you about your application, eligibility, interviews, events, due diligence and programme administration. These operational communications are part of processing your application. Marketing consent must be presented separately where required. You can opt out of marketing without withdrawing your application, although opting out does not stop necessary programme communications.
11. Publicity and recording
Applying does not by itself grant us an unrestricted right to use your image, voice, story, trade marks or confidential business information for public promotion. Shortlisted applicants or participants may be asked to sign a separate filming, photography and publicity release identifying the permitted uses, channels, duration and any approval process. Public announcements remain subject to any separate written arrangements.
12. Website use
Website content is general information only and may change. You may use the website for lawful personal and business application purposes. You must not scrape, reproduce, republish, sell, reverse engineer, disrupt or misuse the website or its content except as permitted by law or written permission. All FFF branding, website material and programme content owned by us or our licensors remains protected by intellectual-property law.
13. Third-party services and links
The website may rely on third-party form, hosting, analytics, advertising, communication, payment-free verification and other services, and may link to external sites. We do not control third-party availability, security, terms or content. Your use of those services may be subject to separate terms.
14. Availability and changes
We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free website access. We may maintain, suspend, alter or discontinue website features or programme elements. Where a material programme change affects submitted applicants, we will take reasonable steps to communicate it and comply with applicable law.
15. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, website and programme information is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that participation will result in investment, revenue, business success, publicity or any particular outcome. Nothing excludes guarantees, warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law protections.
16. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, profit, data, goodwill or anticipated savings arising from use of the website or participation in the application process. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited only to the extent legally permitted. This clause does not exclude liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit.
17. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you indemnify us against third-party claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the website, breach of these terms, infringement of another person’s rights, or information you submit without authority. This does not apply to the extent a loss was caused by our negligence, unlawful conduct or breach.
18. Privacy
Personal information is handled under the FFF Privacy Policy and any application collection notice presented at the point of submission. You should read those documents before applying.
19. Governing law and local rights
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the parties submit to the courts of Queensland, subject to mandatory rights and protections that apply in the applicant’s country or state and cannot lawfully be displaced. UK and United States applicants may retain mandatory local consumer, privacy and procedural rights.
20. General
If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it is severed or read down to the minimum extent necessary without affecting the remainder. A failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. We may assign these terms as part of a bona fide restructure, programme transfer or business transaction, subject to applicable law. You may not assign your application rights without written consent. These terms, together with documents expressly incorporated into them, contain the agreement governing website use and application participation, but do not replace any later confidentiality, publicity or investment agreement.
